FAQs

Where do your classes take place?

All our classes currently take place in-person in a loft located in St-Henri, Montreal, Quebec. If you prefer an online class please see Celina’s class here.

How much do your classes and workshops cost?

They range from $250 – $350 depending on the length and content of the class. Please visit the individual class page for exact pricing.

What methods of payment do you accept?

We accept major credit cards and e-transfer.

How are the classes presented? What time commitment is needed?

All classes will be in-person. The actual class will be a mixture of presentation, hands-on practice and going over assignments. For the 5 week class there will be assignments every week. They are not mandatory but will help to practice the content that has been introduced. Expect to spend between 1-3 hours per week completing these assignments.

What type of camera do I need?

For our social media and phone photography classes and workshops you simply need a phone that has a camera.

For our beginner photography workshop you need a camera that can be used in a Manual Mode setting.

Do you teach film photography classes?

We don’t, but Celina Bailey shoots film and if you are interested in learning more you can contact her directly.

How do I register?

Registration takes place here. Sign up for our newsletter to get reminders when registration for the class you are interested in opens.

When do the classes run?

Check out each individual class page or the registration page to see the exact dates each class will be held.

How often do the classes, walks and workshops run?

Classes will be held three times per year – Fall, Winter and Spring.

Workshops will be held approximately once every other month.

Walks will be held during the summer months.

Classes and workshops may or may not run every block.

I see a class on the class page that I want to take but it is not on the registration page?

Not all classes or workshops will be offered every term. If the class or workshop you want to take is not on the registration page, check back the following month.

Is there a textbook or digital pdf?

Yes. Every class has a beautiful textbook. You can either purchase the textbook through us for an additional cost (around $50), or the pdf is yours to keep and you can print it on your own.

What is your refund policy?

50% deposit refunded two weeks or earlier to course start

Full amount refunded 1 week or earlier to course start

No refund within 1 week of course start however you may gift or sell your spot.

How many students will be in each class?

We are currently determining how many students that will be based on the space in order to not be sitting close to each other. However, no matter the space it will not be more than ten.

Is there a waitlist for sold out classes?

Yes – please let us know. Spots do open up occasionally.
